“Nobody can fully understand the meaning of love unless he’s owned a dog. A dog can show you more honest affection with a flick of his tail than a man can gather through a lifetime of handshakes.” – Gene Hill
The vaccine debate is possible... because of vaccines.
Just dropped this sweet face off for her TPLO surgery. Mama is a nervous Nellie! But I know she’s in good hands! Please send some love and healing vibes her away if you have a spare minute! ❤️
So this is a rarity!! I think I’ve heard Landon howl about four times in the nine years that I have had him. I had to sneak attack this recording by pretending to look at something else.
Current mood? Stabby. Send chocolate and alcohol and either run or back away slowly. Do not make eye contact. If you do, this may result in the loss of a limb. One of yours to be clear.
So this is what happens when I walk Lyla. I am trying an easy walk harness on her. They’re not my favourite but so far, it’s the one that seems to work. The goal is to be able to use her regular harness without the pulling. And without her lovely dramatics! Lol! And we will get there! It’s a work in progress! Even dog trainers have issues with their dogs. We work with ours and have setbacks just like everyone else. It took me a few years to get Landon to the point that he could be off-leash without straying too far from me. He is now able to look to/for me if he can’t see me. His behaviour training plus obedience training is what got us there. And Lyla will get there too! If you’re struggling with your pup, please know it does get better! It just takes patience, practice, and the belief that you can help your dog. And if you need someone to chat with, I am always here!
