Landon is doing better. His blood tests, thankfully, came back normal. His x-ray showed that he has mild degenerative disease in his elbow. Given the fact that he’s ten-years-old, I’m not too surprised by that. He’s on some pain killers and anti-inflammatories right now and as long as he is pain-free, we’re good. So I’ll take that as a win.

And according to the vet and the clinic staff, he was really good for them. Which I was relieved to hear. I was so worried about him because I could be there for the x-rays. But he was in great hands and that makes me so happy.

I love Landon to the moon and beyond. He’s been the most dependable being to me in the last almost ten years that I’ve had him. His unconditional love and trust to me make my heart happy.

He doesn’t trust or love easily, so when he gives you both freely, it’s the best feeling in the world. And I wouldn’t trade him for anything!

  1. To the moon and back! This big boy helped me overcome my intense fear of dogs that I’ve had all my life! But, on our first encounter, I was astounded to realize that he was just as afraid of me as I was uncertain of him! How a dog could trembled like a frightened child was incredulous to me and I was determined that he was going to be safe with me and I with him! Landon has been my saviour in more ways than I can say. Staying by my side before I even knew I would be unwell, and he looking to me for comfort in storms. Truly unconditional Love and I thank him for allowing me to know what everyone who had a dog would say when I would be told that there was nothing like the love that a dog brings to your life, and they were RIGHT!!!
